Focus Friday – Sept. 2, 2022

Welcome to the very first Focus Friday blog post.  The idea for this blog series has been floating around in my head for a very long time.  I just was not sure how I wanted to present and produce it.  That is when the ghosts of a lot of my past coaching training started to haunt me.  The voices just kept saying “simple is better than complex”.  I was overthinking it. A lot.  My goal is simple.  In a world in which there are a million “methods”, “frameworks”, and “schemes”, I wanted to produce a series that would be simple, direct, and most importantly ACTIONABLE for the coaches and educators that read it.  I present to you, Focus Fridays.  A weekly blog that offers actionable advice for coaches and educators.  Each week, I will explore various topics that may be used in the coaching and education worlds.  The ultimate goal is to produce content that is not just meant for consumption but is actionable by all arenas and skill levels.  I want to help create amazing discussions on the court, in the classrooms, and around boardrooms.  Make sure you check back every Friday for a new topic and discussion.  If you have an idea for a topic or discussion, please feel free to e-mail me at blog@danmickle.com.
